Grey Towers Castle at Arcadia University
Grey Towers stands majestically under the clear blue sky in Pennsylvania's Main Line region near Philadelphia. This stately stone mansion is an excellent example of Tudor Revival architecture featuring steeply pitched roofs, half-timbered detailing, and tall chimneys. It was built between 1894 to 1905 by George W. Childs for his daughter Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage as her home upon marrying Dr. John William Magee Sage. Today it serves not only as part of Arcadia University but also houses various offices including admissions counseling services which are open daily during regular business hours.
