Tower Bridge Over the River Thames

Spanning the River Thames near the Tower of London is this iconic Victorian Gothic Revival bridge known as Tower Bridge. Its two towering bascule spans are connected by horizontal walkways for pedestrians above the roadway level. Below that, there's an underbelly passage where boats can pass through when the bridge opens to allow larger vessels to navigate downstream.
