Statue at Drottningholm Palace Fountain

A bronze statue of Hercules in his battle against the Hydra, depicted mid-action as he dismembers one of its heads while water jets from an open wound into a fountain below. Behind him stands the Baroque architecture of Drottningholm Palace under a clear blue sky, adorned by symmetrically arranged topiary hedges and gravel paths that lead to grand entrance gates.
