The National Palace of Montjuïc in Barcelona

A majestic neoclassical building stands atop the hill of Montjuïc overlooking Barcelona's skyline under a clear blue sky. This is the National Palace (Palau Nacional), originally constructed for the 1929 International Exposition but now serves as an art museum housing works by Picasso among others. In front are three tall Doric columns leading to its grand entrance flanked by lush greenery and modern street lamps while cars line both sides of the road below.
