The Majestic Aletsch Glacier in Switzerland

Spanning through rugged mountainous terrain under a partly cloudy sky is one of Europe's longest glaciers - the Aletsch Glacier. Towering peaks rise sharply from either side as the glacier snakes its way down to the valley floor, marked by crevasses that hint at nature's raw power. Lush greenery blankets lower slopes while spruce trees punctuate rocky outcrops along the foreground, creating an awe-inspiring contrast between ice age remnants and alpine flora.
