The Fountain of Apollo at Castle Howard

An ornate Baroque fountain stands majestically in the foreground amidst calm waters reflecting its grandeur under partly cloudy skies. Atop this fountain is a statue holding an urn from which water gracefully spouts outwards towards intricately sculpted dolphins that serve as basins for the cascading water. In the background looms Castle Howard, one of Britain's finest Palladian houses, exemplifying English country house architecture with symmetrical windows framed by tall sash windows and topped off with a dome adorned with statues.
