Spiraling Lighthouse by the Adriatic Sea

Perched atop an old stone building overlooking the calm waters of the Adriatic Sea is this historic lighthouse located at Zadar, Croatia. A spiral staircase leads up to its lantern room where one can imagine the view from above must be breathtaking. To the side stands a traditional straw umbrella that adds charm to what appears as a serene coastal retreat.
